We, BioGenesis – The Euro-Indian Health Cluster, (UK), Indo British Geriatrics Council (India) and Federation of Asian Biotech Associations (FABA) Hyderabad, India Organizing the Conference on World Congress of Gerontology and Geriatrics, 3rd International Conference on HEALTHY AGEING IN THE CHANGING WORLD 2014 to be held on 17th, 18th and 19th of November 2014 at J. N. Tata Auditorium, Indian Institute of Sciences, Bangalore, India.
The conference aims at providing a platform for doctors and people related to medical field to brainstorm on various facets of old age related diseases. It is also aimed at health care providers from all disciplines and include physicians, physician assistants, medical directors, social workers, nurses, nurse practitioners, occupational therapists, physical therapists, nursing home administrators, dental professionals, audiologists, chiropractors, podiatrists, recreational therapists, pharmacists, health care students, faculty and any other clinicians/ professionals interested in the field of aging seeking clinical information about Geriatric Issues.
The purpose behind conducting this conference is to have better understanding of issues such as:
- Normal ageing processes and the ageing body
- Preventative strategies and how best to promote active ageing
- How to prevent or cope with the onset of 'diseases of older age
Understanding the best possible method to address the care and support needs of increasing section of elderly patients, who are also facing financial problems and constantly need medical care. This conference also aims to gather information and to analyze the current scenario as well as come out with solution that will make the elderly live a better quality life.
We also state that, we organized the 2nd International Conference on Healthy Ageing in the Changing World 2013 on 30th September and 1stOctober(elders day) 2013″ which received over whelming response from Government and general public on Geriatrics. It also pleasure to bring to your kind notice that Government of India considering Geriatric Health care on priority and considerable investment making regional center for Elderly Health Care in various parts of India.
